A deposit is required to secure your spot on any Percival Travel Group experience. The specific deposit amount and payment schedule vary by trip. Please contact us at chatwithmerlin@yahoo.com for current deposit requirements and payment details for your selected experience.
Final payment terms will be provided at the time of booking. Payment schedules are designed to ensure all reservations, accommodations, and experiences are secured well in advance of your departure.
Due to the curated, small-group nature of our experiences, all payments are non-refundable. We reserve distillery appointments, accommodations, transportation, and exclusive experiences well in advance to ensure an exceptional journey for every guest.
However, we understand plans change. If you need to cancel, your payment may be transferred to a future Percival Travel Group experience, subject to availability and the following conditions:
We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to protect your investment in case of illness, injury, family emergencies, or other unforeseen circumstances. Travel insurance can provide coverage for trip cancellation, interruption, medical emergencies, and more.
Our experiences are limited to a maximum of 12 guests to ensure an intimate, personalized experience with ample opportunity for interaction with your hosts and fellow travelers.
Default accommodations are double occupancy (shared room with another traveler of the same gender). Solo travelers are welcome and will receive private rooms. A single supplement applies – please contact us for current single room rates.
While we make every effort to fulfill the published itinerary, distillery visits are subject to change based on availability. In the event a scheduled distillery is unavailable, we will replace it with an equal or superior experience. All changes are made with the quality and integrity of your experience as our top priority.
Percival Travel Group is not responsible for changes, cancellations, or delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to: weather, natural disasters, strikes, government actions, pandemics, or distillery closures.
Guests are welcome to extend their stay in Scotland before or after the tour. Percival Travel Group is available to assist with arranging additional accommodations, transportation, and experiences. Please contact us at chatwithmerlin@yahoo.com to discuss your extension plans.
Our tours involve a moderate level of physical activity, including walking on uneven terrain, climbing stairs at castles and distilleries, and navigating cobblestone streets. Guests should be comfortable with 30–60 minutes of walking at a time. If you have mobility concerns, please contact us to discuss specific requirements.
All travelers are responsible for ensuring they have valid passports (valid for at least 6 months beyond return date) and any required visas or travel documentation. Percival Travel Group is not responsible for denied entry due to improper documentation.
While not required, we strongly recommend that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical emergencies, evacuation, and lost luggage.
We curate small-group experiences for quality-focused travelers who value authentic cultural immersion and respectful engagement. We reserve the right to remove any guest from a tour whose behavior is deemed disruptive, disrespectful, or unsafe to themselves or others. In such cases, no refund will be provided.

Our experiences are designed for adults ages 21 and over due to the nature of distillery visits and alcohol tastings. Travelers under 21 are not permitted unless explicitly stated for a specific family-friendly trip. Minors under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and have written parental consent.
During your trip, Percival Travel Group may take photographs and videos for promotional purposes including our website, social media, and marketing materials. By participating in our experiences, you grant us permission to use images that may include your likeness. If you prefer not to be photographed, please inform your hosts at the beginning of the trip.
